Monterey Bay Wildlife
This is a short educational video we produced about the wildlife we see at the Monterey Bay Sanctuary, particularly at Moss Landing, California. You’ll see Elegant Terns, California Sea Lions, Sooty Shearwaters, Pelicans, and Whales. It was taken in July 2014. This was the summer when many whales came close to shore to feed on an abundance of anchovies. The waters were unusually warm enough for the whales to be around for a while.
